My name is Chax, and my love affair with tea started ten years ago. Ten years ago, one evening, I was in a low mood, my heart was in a mess, full of boredom. I wanted to ask a friend to drink to drown his sorrows, but he insisted on taking me into a teahouse.

Push open the door, the aroma of tea curls, instantly dispersed some of my haze. My friend went straight to the corner of the tea table, skillfully set out a set of tea sets, boil water, wash tea, brewing, action in one fell swoop. I watched idly until the first pot of tea on the table. Dark brown tea in the cup swirling, steaming, like hiding a small warm sun. I gently sip, bitterness instantly exploded on the tip of my tongue, followed by a hint of sweetness spread out leisurely, the unique flavor instantly captured my taste buds.

I like Pu-erh tea.

Pu-erh tea, this seemingly ordinary leaves, has such magic. Since then, I’ve been deeply involved in the world of Pu-erh tea. I brewed a pot of tea in my spare time and watched the tea leaves float in the water, just like the ups and downs of life. The bitterness of the tea at the beginning of the mouth is like the trials and tribulations of life, but as the tea spreads out in the mouth, the sweetness rises, and it is like a clearing of the mind after the bitterness and sweetness have come to an end. Every tea has a different flavor, just like every day is full of unknowns and surprises.

I have been drinking this tea for six years. During these six years, I have tasted Puerh teas from different years and different hills, from the tender raw tea to the mellow ripe tea, each with its own character. Some raw teas have a fresh floral aroma, like freshly blossomed flowers in spring, full of vitality; some ripe teas are calm and introverted, with an aged wood aroma, like elders who have gone through the vicissitudes of life, telling the story of the years.

I like the aroma of pu-erh tea

For me, Pu-erh tea is not only a thirst-quenching drink, but also a silent friend. When I am lost and confused, it gives me strength; when I am exhausted, it gives me comfort. It accompanied me through countless days and nights, witnessing my growth and transformation in time. The time I spent with tea was long and peaceful, allowing me to find a pure land for my own soul in this noisy world. In the future, I would like to continue to accompany Pu’er tea and savor the fragrance of every tea in these years.
